ABOUT ME
I am Chloé Audigier, an attorney registered with the Bar Associations of Thonon-les-Bains and Geneva.
My main office is located in Annemasse, Haute-Savoie, and I operate throughout France.
My secondary office is located in Geneva, Switzerland, within the Peter & Moreau law firm, whereI also serve as legal counsel. www.petermoreau.ch
My legal journey began in France at the University of Lyon III, where I earned a degree in public law followed by a Master’s in business law.
I then obtained a Master’s in private law in England at the University of Manchester.
Back in France, I pursued a Master’s in cinema, audiovisual, and multimedia law at the Institute of Art and Cultural Law in Lyon.
These diverse and varied experiences have prepared me to tackle legal challenges with a global perspective.
Feeling a desire to work closely with people, I ultimately chose to pursue a career in law, specifically focusing on family law.
After obtaining my certificate of aptitude for the legal profession in 2013, I registered with the Bar of Thonon-les-Bains and, wishing to enhance my skills, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Swiss law before registering with the Geneva Bar.
This dual qualification allows me to navigate effectively between the French and Swiss legal systems.

MY SKILLS
International Family Law
International family law is a branch of law that deals with family relationships involving multiple countries. This includes marriages, divorces, child custody, and estates where the parties or assets involved are located in different countries. This particularly complex area of law navigates between national legislations and international conventions and treaties.
As an attorney registered with the Barreaux of Thonon les Bains and Geneva, I am based in France at Annemasse (74100) 7 Avenue Pasteur, 74100, and in Switzerland at Rue des Pavillons 17, CH - 1205 Geneva.
Cross-Border Family Law
The Lake Geneva region is particularly affected by issues of cross-border family law. Determining territorial jurisdiction (i.e., the competent jurisdiction between France and Switzerland) and the applicable law (French law, Swiss law, or foreign laws) requires specific expertise.
Foreign Nationals Law
Foreign Nationals Law governs the status of individuals in a country where they do not hold citizenship. It includes rules regarding entry, residence, work, and removal measures. Foreign Nationals Law is a particularly complex and constantly evolving field.
I handle cases in Foreign Nationals Law concerning French nationality, residency permits, and the contestation of removal measures.
